Maurice E. Huget, Jr.

​Maury is a Bay Area native. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley, he graduated in 1961 from Hastings College of Law, University of California at San Francisco.
 

In 1962, he began practicing law in Martinez.  He served as Clayton’s City Attorney (1964 to 2005) and as District Legal Counsel for the Mt. View Sanitary District (2000 to 2005). 
 

Maury is retired from the fulltime practice of law and now serves as Of Counsel to the firm, assisting in matters involving estate planning, wills, trusts, probate and real estate.
 

He volunteers at Martinez' Senior Center is a member of the Trust & Estate section of the California State Bar and Contra Costa County Bar.
 

Mr. Huguet has three generations of family residing in the East Bay and is actively involved in the Martinez community.
